It is hot!

It is very hot here now. We are getting in the 90's. Right now it is 74 outside. We have had a very busy week. They are all busy, but I think this is the busiest for me. I am doing more of the office work now. Almost all of it. I try my best to keep on top of things. Don't want to get behind. We only have four more Young Women Camps. August 15th is the last. Then, we have a lot of wards campout, then for Labor Day weekend, the whole camp is closed to the public because we have multistake singles which is almost every empty spot full of single adults. Then, things will slow down so we can do repairs, take down the teepees and wall tents and get ready for winter. It is hard to believe summer is almost over.

We missed Nancy and Mike Fraizer. They stopped by today while we were in Ellensburg picking up the ATV. We took it in to get it serviced and it was ready for pick up. It would have been nice to visit with them. They may stop by on the way back. I wish I knew when they were going to do so.

Oh! I forgot to tell you that Dad is doing the Biffee pumping. He has to pump and clean them. I told him he couldn't get in bed without a shower. Of course, he always showers anyways. It isn't bad, it is just the thought he has to stir things up, pump and rinse. What did he do to deserve that! Someone has to do it.

We sure get a lot of thank yous from the young women and their leaders for our volunteer service and how nice we keep things here. It always makes us feel good.

Will family, please take care of yourselves. We love all of you. Good night.

Will, family take care of yourself.

  1. Go dad, keep the pump running. I guess that is a small price to pay to be in the mountains serving the lord, running tractors and 4 wheelers.

Our goat died today. Kind of sad he was always making me laugh by the silly things he did.

Take care and enjoy this heat wave, fall is rounding the corner.JL

  2. Sorry your goat died. I'm glad you have memories of some of the things the goat did to make you laugh.
